KRISPY KREAM IS GONE

I remember a few years back when the big news was that Krispy Kream was opening a store here in our town. The excitement was amazing for not everyone has experienced the Krispy Kream taste. They put up this big building and finally the day arrived when they were opening their doors to our town. For days you couldn't get near the place. Finally my wife and I got our chance and bought a dozen. We thought they were a bit pricey and I have to tell you they were not as good as people said. Eventually everyone got to see what they were all about and I guess they came to the same conclusion. To expensive and just a lot of air. Well a few days ago it was said that the store was closed and they are going to tear it down and put a strip mall in its place. Just what we need around here is another strip mall with empty stores. I liked the open spaces of years gone by.
