LET'S GO SHOPPING.

A little girl was spotted left alone in a SUV on a very, very hot day. The little girl was 16 months old and left in the car while her mother went shopping for clothes. Police had to break open a window to get the child out. The child was taken to an area and treated and was released into her grandmother's custody on Sunday.
It would be interesting to know the age of this mother.  Obviously she doesn't know how to care for a child.

HOW CAN THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT?

How can they sleep at night? That question is addressed to our boys and girls in Washington D.C..
They are spending  money on all sorts of crap but they can't take care of their own. What I mean is NOT EXTENDING THE UNEMPLOYMENT to thousands and thousands of people in need. Many of these people, including my daughter have NO INCOME coming in. She has been looking for a JOB for well over a year and depending on her unemployment. She has been on countless interviews where she is told "we love your resume and you would fit in just great in our company". They call her back for three or four more interviews only to tell her in an e-mail that they have chosen someone else. That is BULLSHIT. These companies have NO IDEA what these people are going through.
She has a daughter and her ex is supposed to pay child support. This is a hit or miss situation and she can't count on that.  Some 17 year old was texting on her phone and ran into the back of her and totaled her car. Her back was injured and the surgeon wants $450.00 for a consultation.  She can't get food stamps or Medicaid because for some reason she does not quality.
She has a lawyer and is dragging her ex through court and every time the judge says "lets give it a few more months and see what happened" and yet numb nuts still only pays child support when he wants too.
He makes about $85,000 a year, is now on vacation and bought a new fishing boat. Where is the justice?
I really pray for all those who lost the unemployment and pray the jerks in higher power re-instate it.
I can really imagine what a state of depression these people are in.

WHERE DO THEY GET THEIR INFORMATION?

Everyday I listen to the news and I keep hearing that the price of gas is going down for the Memorial Day weekend. If you live in Northwest Indiana it's not. Prices in my area have gone up ten cents as of yesterday just in time for the weekend. On the other hand if you go three or four miles the prices are down by almost fifteen cents.
As for prices going down, someone is not doing their homework.

THE GATHERING OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

What is tomorrow?  It's Easter Sunday and as in many years past it is a religious holiday. Lets keep it that way.
Shoot the Easter Bunny and not give our kids tons and tons of candy so they can put on weight, I guess this goes for the adults too.  Don't turn this day into a minnie Christmas with load of presents as some people do. Think of the wallet!!!!!
Go to church with your family, visit with family and friends, enjoy good food and light spirits. You don't have to get drunk to enjoy the day but I guess there will be people who will not see it that way. I feel sorry for those.

IT'S A SHAME IT HAD TO HAPPEN!

In Florida it is a shame that a young man was shot and killed by a crime watch guard. I don't know but should there be such a outpouring of speeches and public intervention. And what about the intervention of the big man himself, Mr. Obama. He should show as much interest in bringing our men and women home from other lands.  Would it be any different if it was a white kid killed by a black guard? I'm sure we would not still be hearing about it.
Another thing, enough about Whitney Houston. She was a drug user so lets not glorify her. AMEN.

WHERE IS THE AMERICAN FLAG?

When the person who is leading this country speaks to the press, I have noticed the absence of the American Flag. The only thing that I see is a yellow drape with Arabic symbols. Is he ashamed of his position, or this country. If this is true you have to remember that YOU who voted for this man are to blame for that and many other situations that he and his followers have gotten us into.
LETS NOT HAVE A SECOND TERM OF THIS FOOLISHNESS!!!!!!!!. Only the rich can live with this, not us folks struggleing day to day to survive.
BRING OUR BOYS AND GIRLS HOME. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

ANGELINA'S LEG.

Angelina made a statement at the Academy Awards with the exposing of one of her body parts. Her leg. After viewing this spectacle I said to myself "what the hell". If this move was supposed to excite all of the male viewers, forget it. Angelina has the ugliest legs and arms I have ever seen next to Twiggy. One glance and one would think that she is ill. From now on she should wear clothes that cover her from head to toe with no slits or sort sleeves.
She may be a good actress but I am afraid she falls sort on the beauty.

WHAT WOULD YOUR DECISION BE?

Man is serving six years in prison for beating his girlfriend who was pregnant. She was holding her 1 year old child while this guy kept hitting her in the face while pregnant. Police arrived to find this woman bleeding profusely from the face.  The two had dated for eight years and had recently broken up. Unfortunately the woman died in a house fire in December and now the guy is asking to be released from jail to take care of the two children which he says are his.

Grandma who has been taking care of the children wants full custody of the children and is trying to block any attempt to get him released.

Is a man who beat a pregnant woman deserving to be trusted with these children. I for one say NO. How about you.

GOING FOR MILK BEFORE WORK GETS MAN KILLED.

A man wanting to enjoy a cup of coffee before work was walking to the store to get milk for his coffee and kids cereal. That man never made it home because he was killed by a drunk driver around 7a.m..
The guy that killed him was drunk on his way home from the grand opening of a new bar. He is 24 years old and has over 100 traffic violations, most of which have been dismissed.
He had 31 speeding violations, five pleaded down to parking violations and 19 dismissed. 16 seat belt violations of which 10 were dismissed. 1 careless driving charge pleaded down to a parking violation. 2 previous drunken driving charges which one was pleaded down to a misdemeanor and the other pleaded down to reckless driving, and the list goes on. Now he killed someone. What will this be pleaded down to. It's amazing how the court system works. Will they take his driving privileges away and will he spend time in jail. This should be interesting.

WHO'S PAYING FOR LAY-A-WAYS?

Wouldn't it be wonderful if you had things a K Mart on lay-a-way and when you went to pick it up the clerk told you that it was all paid for. Darn right it would! That is exactly what is happening at K Mart stores in Michigan, Iowa, Indiana and Nebraska. This is not happening to everyone, but to people in need such as Melissa Atwood whose husband has had three heart attacks and of course can't work . Mrs. Atwood has had a difficult time caring for the husband, daughter who has medical issues and her elderly mother. That sounds like a real plate full. Others have also been chosen to receive full payment on their lay-a-way's.
Who are these angels paying these bills? Who knows. Just give them a silent GOD BLESS YOU and be thankful that there are people like them.

WHATS IN YOUR CHRISTMAS TREE?

When buying a real Christmas tree be careful.  ALWAYS bang the tree on the ground and look through isn't branches.
A family purchased a tree, brought it home and set it up in the living room. Lights were put on as well as the ornaments along with tinsel when a family member say movement within the branches. Upon further inspection it was found to be a snake. Thank goodness it was not poisonous. 
According to the news this happened in two different states.
Be careful and stay safe.

DECORATING FOR THE SEASON

Now that Halloween and Thanksgiving are behind us, it is now time to set the house, inside and out, ablaze with beautiful colored lights, garland, ribbon and of course animated figures. This past weekend I drove around to see who was the first to put these things up to celebrate the coming of Christmas.
Some homes go all out, which I expect  shoot the electric bill sky high, while others are more conservative and do just enough decorating to show that they want to be part of the Christmas season. I saw the lights and figures of Santa, deer and other things associated with the season. The thing that I was sad not to see were any Nativity scenes reminding us that this is the birthday of Jesus.
For those of you who have not decorated yet, try to put this reminder in your decorations and remind the world what this season is all about.

GETTING CARRIED AWAY.

First they started by opening their stores the day after Thanksgiving at 6 am, then it went to 4 am, now this year it is 12 midnight and just the other day I hear that the stores will be open on Thanksgiving day. What about family values with everyone sitting down and enjoying a meal and being with each other. I bet the CEO's and Presidents and higher up's will be sitting down with their families. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could just forget about Christmas and buying gifts and just put Christ in the season as it used to be and should be and let these money hungry bastards eat their merchandise and have no money to count.

Folks, this country is going to pot because of big business because if they don't make 1 billion dollars over the Christmas season they had a bad year. They are saying that now and the shopping season hasn't even started.

SAVE YOUR HOUSE!

I thought I had heard on TV the Mr. Obama said something about the banks are to help people behind on the mortgages.

Situation is a friend of mine has missed three payments and in speaking with WELLS FARGO BANK was told they will not help and that he is going to lose the house. He has offered to make a payment and was told they would not accept just A payment unless he is up to date with the others. At least he is trying to pay something and the bank will not listen that his circuit breaker on his property tax kicks in January and this will reduce his payment substantually. It was their fault that the they did not inform him that he had to apply before a certain date. It's never the institutions fault, always the customer. My son, daughter and nephew had WELLS FARGO for their mortgage and they all had trouble with them.

BLACK FRIDAY ON SATURDAY?

Well did everyone get out and do their Christmas shoppin on the early BLACK FRIDAY shopping days? Wal-Mart doing a trial run and Target and other stores actually having their BLACK FRIDAY shopping days with another one the day after Thanksgiving. They are not thinking about the economy as it is, they just want to put people farther in debt so they can sit home on Christmas day and count their money.

What a sorry bunch of bastards they are. Does Christ even enter into the picture anymore

WHAT TO DO!!!!!!

What is there to do when the campgrond is closed? I guess I can do winter things like wash down my kitchen cabinets, shampoo my carpets, sell things on ebay, visit retail shops and go to the last of the garage sales. Before my wife was called to heaven, I didn't have a problem keeping occupied for she would always somewhere to go or something to do, so I just sat back and went with the flow.

I can look at it this way, one less week I have to wait before I can go back to the camper.

IT WAS A SAD DAY LAST SUNDAY.

Went to the camper last weekend for the last weekend of the season. Monday the park started turning off the water. Had a nice fire on Saturday which included good conversation and of course a lot of laughs.

Sunday brought rain and temperatures which were a little cooler. This was OK because it was time to shut everything down and say goodbye to friends which is what I did. Hopefully some of us will be able to get to geather during the winter for dinner and catch up on what is going on.

You can bet your bottom dollar that the countdown to April 15,2012 has begun when I will be back at the campground.

DANCING WITH THE STARS.

Dancing With The Stars is back but I don't think that is as good as last year. Those who can dance are being voted off and those who can't dance get to stay, how I don't know.

Chaz should have been voted off the first week. He has the grace of a beached whale and yet he keeps coming back. Like the star who got voted off this past tuesday said, "this is not a competition".

SEX IN CAR ADS????

I was watching a car ad the other day on tv. The pitch man went around the car tell of all the features on it and at the end he walked toward the back of the car and said "you can even throw in a little sex" and patted the card on it's lower trunk.

What is this telling people, especially young viewers. Buy one of our cars and have sex in it.

Not a good message in a world already having sex pushed down our throats with other ads and prgrams.
