WHATS THAT RASH?

Last week I noticed a small rash on my granddaughter and the next day it got a little bigger and itched, to I went to the general store at the campground and picked up some Benedryl and Calamine lotion. The lady at the register confirmed that it was Poison Ivy. I tried to get her to stop scratching it buy you know kids. Now it is all over her body. After seeing this I said it was time to see a doctor which we did and she confirmed that it was Poison Ivy. She is now on medicine and will be on it in decreasing doses over the next two weeks along with the Benedryl. For the life of me I don't know where she got it. At the campground or at home. Wherever she got it, it is not a good thing. This being summer she can't go swimming in someones pool or even at a public pool. Word to the wise kids. Don't roll in weeds or go off the path in the woods. Not that these warnings would help unless you know what Poison Ivy looks like. I just hope that nobody gets caught up in this stuff. Happy summer.
