I was reading the paper this morning and came across a short article what happened when the young lady found Heath Ledger. I can't believe that she made three phone calls to a person to ask "WHAT SHOULD I DO" and then called 911. I'm surprised she didn't leave, go home and then call someone. What is this world coming too? BUT BABY IT'S COLD

But Baby It's Cold. That was a line in a song of years gone by and that line surely hold true tonite. As I sit here and type this blog it is 2 degrees above zero and am sure it will go below that as the night goes on. I am thankful that I don't have to out tonite, although I did take my two granddaughters out for dinner at the local Burger King that has a indoor playground. As we walked in I saw a man and a boy about 6 and a baby about 2 come out of the playground and leave. After the girls ate dinner they went rushing into the playground area and as quickly as they went in was how fast they came out. Each was gaging and said it smells like poo in there. Of course I had to check for myself and sure enough it smelled just like what they said it did. The 2 year old must have filled a diaper and the man just threw it into the trash can. Even an employee went in there came out and said it sure stinks in there, but did nothing to fix the problem. With that, we left and came home to a nice warm house.

COLD MOVIE GALLERY

Today being Tuesday, the new DVD's come out for the week. As on every Tuesday I go to my local Movie Gallery to get the new releases and even some I missed in weeks past. This morning when I walked into the store it was colder in there than outside. When I shop I like to be comfortable, meaning warm in the winter and cool in the summer. This store has had a broken air conditioner and furnace since last year. They keep telling the employees that they are waiting for a part to come in. Come in from where. These poor people who work there have to wear winter coats to stay warm. I bet if the owners or company execs had to work under those conditions that furnace would be fixed in a hurry. By the way this Movie Gallery is in Schererville Indiana. I wonder if there are any others like this one. Are they just out for the money and not care about the employees.

RUSH HOUR 3

I watched Rush Hour 3 this evening. It was a good action film but the thing that rubbed me the wrong way was Chris Tucker. For one thing, the man cannot act and he never keeps his mouth shut. He just keeps going on and on and on trying to be funny but it just doesn't cut it. The film would be just as good without him and his stupid babbling. See the movie but try and block him out if you can.

KIDS IN THE CAR

The day after Christmas I left for Texas to visit my daughter and spend New Years Eve with her. With me I took Angelica ten and Delaney six. Did you every travel 1234 miles in a car with two girls. Thank God for dvd players. Maybe not. I have listened to Wild Hogs at least 9 times from the beginning of the trip to the end. One of the things that I must admit was that there was none of the are we there yet, I have to go potty or I'm hungry. They were either playing their DS's (a brilliant device), watching dvd's or fighting. Yes, my little angels did argue about nothing but quit staring at me, don't touch me or the big thing, grandpa so and so threw something at me. All in all I must say it wasn't a bad trip, just a long one which I would do again to see my daughter and grand kids and enjoy the holidays with them.
