How often do you go to concerts and when you do go do you pay outlandish prices for tickets to hear loud music and the other fans yelling louder than the music.
A lot of people think that American Idol is on it's last leg. I agree. The only good part of Idol are the auditions, and whats with bringing in another judge. Do they really need her? Do you think it is right for the public to vote for the winner. It seems to turn into a racial thing as I think the choice between Clay Aikens and Ruben Stuttard was.

TIME IS GETTING CLOSE!!!!!!

Time is getting close. Close to what you ask. Well lets see. Income tax (I have to pay this year), grass cutting time, don't have to do that the assiciation does that. Opening day for baseball, warm weather (looking forward to that)and with warm weather brings the opening of the Yogi Bear Camp Resort in Plymouth, Indiana where I have a camper. They usually turn the water on to the campers around the 15th of April, sometimes sooner. I am really looking forward to getting back up there and sitting on the deck, looking at the lake and watching the fountain. Very relaxing. And then there are the friends that I haven't seen in six months. Sitting by the campfire catching up on what went on over the winter, hearing new jokes and the best part of the whole thing is laughing. That always makes one feel good.CAN'T WAIT.

WEATHERMAN SAY'S HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS

Well he said it again. How many times has he been right this year? The men in charge of the weather at the various TV stations in Chicago, that reach Northwest Indiana say there is a winter storm coming this way and will drop 6 to 8 inches of the white stuff on us beginning around 11 tonite and ending around 6 tomorrow night. I don't get out much during the week and this will ruin the party I am supposed to go to tomorrow night. I sure hope not. I'm looking forward to seeing old friends.
Anyway the weathermen always cry wolf. I sometimes wonder if this is a ploy to get people to go to the markets and stock up on food and drink and make money for the stores. Whatever it is, WE will do this and wake up several time during the night to see if the BIG storm has started painting our landscape white. It's beautiful but still a pain in the neck. One nice thing is that I don't have to shovel it.

THE "BIG" GAME

How many of you football fans are sick today. It was a good game, especially in the last quarter. Loved the 100 yard interception return by James Harrison and that spectacular catch by Santonio Holmes to win the game. Now lets get back to sick today. I'm not referring to if you lost money or the team you were yelling for won or lost, I'm referring to the intake of all the good food you ate and drinks you drank. I tell you I saw a lot of party packages at the stores with ribs, wings, salad, beer, wine, chips, popcorn, lunch meat and whatever else you could put on a table or snack tray. To those of you who are feeling the pressure in your stomach's or head today, just remember you had a good time and a lot to eat and you were with friends. That's what it is all about. WHAT IS HOLODOMOR?
