THE NUMBER GOES TO 7-0

I'm told that this was another exciting game. Grandson Spencer held up his end by getting 2 sac's and one touchdown. He incurred an injury involving a certain part of his body that no-one would want to get kicked in. He was helped off of the field only to return for the next play.
This coming Saturday starts the playoffs.
Good luck Patriots, take it all the way to state.
Why?, because GRANDPA said so.

THEY ARE NO 6 - 0

The Killeen Patriots are moving right along at 6-0. At the end of the second quarter the score was 50 - 0 so the game was called. Again grandson Spencer was in on every play doing his thing and making a mark in the record books.
Can I say I'm proud of him and his team? I am..

IT NOW GOES TO 5-0

Yes friends it is now 5-0 for grandson Spencer's football team with a win of 55 to 13. Spencer got himself 7 tackles and one resulting in a fumble with him recovering the ball. How much I would have loved to be there to see the game.
As a reward he was taken to a place he has wanted to eat for some time and that place was HOOTERS. He said he really had a good time and the food was good too.
I hope this trend continues with next weeks game.
Good luck Killeen Patriots.

THEY ARE NOW 4-0

Yes the number is now 4 wins 0 losses. Even though the other team at times were not playing and showing good sportsmanship the Killeen Patriots won with an outstanding score of 59-19.
This is strange. Because they are the only team that has won 4 games other teams are requesting an investigation of their equipment to ensure that it is regulation. What has that got to do with it? The team is good and they would probably play and win even if they were barefoot. It's amazing how adults (coaches) can turn kids sports into something that takes away from the pleasure of winning. Lets face it coaches, if your team was good they would win too.
Grow up and this goes for the ref's too. Don't show favorites.

WINDING DOWN.

Yesterday the weatherman was forecasting rain for the weekend and as I sit here writing this he was right for once. I chose not to go to the camper this weekend after hearing his report and waking up this morning to the sound of rain beating on my roof. Not only that but it is COLD outside. I guess we have to expect that when you live in this part of the country. Indiana.
At this time of year the snow birds (people who move to warmer climates for the winter) start leaving the campground. It get pretty lonely if your friends are not there.
In about two weeks the water will be shut off and that will officially end the season and I will not return until next April, God willing.
I have to go through the Holidays and the long do nothing but watch tv period until I can go back. The Holidays are not the same since my wife passed 5 years ago. I enjoyed doing the decorating and shopping with her, but now that is gone.
Looking forward to next year.
