A man was walking his dog and as they passed another person, that person threw the dog a biscuit treat. The dogs owner, at that point, grabbed the biscuit thrower and slammed him up against a garage and a scuffle started. Police were called and the owner of the dog said he thought the biscuit thrower was trying to poison the dog.
Lesson learned, don't be kind to animals or better yet ask first if you can give the dog a treat.

I heard that a trained dog will never take any food offered by a stranger. Maybe the owner want to prevent the dog from such poisoning.
